With available credits, send GET https://api.redditscraping.com/v1/posts?subreddit=webscraping&limit=3. Save the response before passing it to your mapper. Check that the worker distinguishes a successful empty page from a rejected request and that no secret enters its logs. Increase the run only after the downstream step handles the input it actually received.
Send X-API-Key: <key> or Authorization: Bearer <key> with retrieval requests; both are supported. Keep the actual secret in protected server configuration rather than public browser code. The account session cookie is separate from retrieval authentication. When credits are available, start with the small webscraping example on the homepage and examine the returned fields before adapting your old parser.
Fund requests after inspecting the input
A minimum paid top-up of $50 adds 50000 credits at $1 per 1000 successful retrievals. No subscription applies and paid credits do not expire. Sign in and create an invoice first, then send its exact amount to its stated recipient using USDT on TRON TRC20 or USDC on Ethereum mainnet ERC20. Paste the transaction hash to request verification of a genuine confirmed transfer.
The invoice lasts one hour; settlement timing is not guaranteed and provider failures can leave verification pending. Do not transfer again just because a check remains pending. Each successful retrieval, even empty, costs one credit. HTTP 401 concerns authentication, 402 the balance and 429 rate limiting. Public /v1/status does not validate your key or search availability. Keep the worker’s credentials usable
The account panel is integrated into this key page. Use it to view the balance, create invoices and regenerate your key. The original secret cannot simply be redisplayed. Accounts, keys and credits are specific to redditscraping.com. Conditional 100 trial credits depend on network-wide anti-abuse eligibility; a new key does not guarantee a trial balance, and signup does not require a paid top-up.
A signed-in user can regenerate a lost or exposed key after confirming the account password. This invalidates the previous key immediately, so update the applications using it. There is no password-reset or emailed-key workflow. The widget stores invoice and user identifiers per hostname in localStorage for invoice recovery, not the raw API key. Protect your saved secret independently of that browser state.
