Scope and lawful use
Reddit Scraping provides independent historical retrieval, not an official Reddit service or live crawler. It does not provide access-control bypass, posting, voting, private messages or Reddit OAuth. Coverage, continued record availability, immutable results and complete conversations are not guaranteed. Records are flat, and local grouping depends on available fields and context. Users must respect applicable law and third-party rights when retrieving, analyzing or redistributing material. Choosing a historical source does not establish equivalence to the current website.
Account credentials
Protect your email account, password and API key. The key is shown once immediately at signup before payment. A signed-in user can regenerate it after password confirmation, invalidating the previous key immediately. Accounts, keys and balances belong to redditscraping.com. Retrieval accepts X-API-Key or Authorization: Bearer authentication, separate from the account session. Trial eligibility for 100 credits is conditional under network-wide anti-abuse controls and is not a guarantee for each new account.
Credits and payments
One successful retrieval, even empty, costs one credit: $1 per 1000 requests. Minimum paid top-up is $50 for 50000 credits. There are no subscriptions and paid credits do not expire. Invalid requests do not debit, upstream failures refund reservations, and status is uncharged. Create a signed-in invoice before sending its exact amount by its supported token and network, then submit the transaction hash. Credit requires verification of a genuine confirmed matching transfer; settlement timing is not guaranteed. A successful repeat after client response loss costs another credit.
